Dolls House Part 2

Oh dear, 3 years later and I have to confess that the previous dolls house is no more. To paraphrase Monty Python, its kicked the bucket, shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisible. In short, it has ceased to exist.

The truth is, I didn’t get the chance to even make a start with it, let alone redesign it to meet Dody and Pike’s requirements. Yes, you guessed it, the plan all along was to make it Dody and Pike’s future house.

But all was not lost. I came across this British Dolls House manufacturer,, had a meeting with them and together we designed Dody and Pike’s dream house. They won’t be homeless for much longer.

We decided the most suitable house for adaptation was Anglia’s Gainsborough House. This is what the standard version looks like:

If you go to Anglia’s website you can take a look at the original plans.

This blog will now take off with a vengeance as I send you weekly updates of the renovation and manufacturing process.
